A unique and rewarding opportunity to lead the online strategy and technical direction within this large and dynamic user of technology. A forward looking organization, solutions are often complex in nature and require a broad use of differing tools. Further, the touching points will be extremely broad and even have a social impact. You will form a part of an empowered and nationally awarded IT department charged with shaping the application of technology in this diverse business.
You will be a consultant/analyst familiar with all the pieces of the programming puzzle in the on-line world. Hailing from a programming background gives you a solid code and architecture understanding. Knowledge of and experience with the design of infrastructure requirements along with database necessities place you as a capable individual across solutions provision. An understanding of the security perspective when designing and deploying applications with an internet component will provide the final piece of the puzzle. Development environments and tools are Microsoft centric but may require integration with alternative vendor products - consequently your m'soft skills will be exemplary.
As an individual you will be capable of wearing numerous hats in one day – analysis and design to technical specification writing and perhaps even occasional coding...making this a varied and exciting role. Project management when necessary and consulting back to the business on the internet strategy round this role out to be one of a kind.
