Description |
Water Blast Operator & House Washer

Type: Permanent
Pay and benefits: $42k-$53k. Wk Based from Home. Vehicle/Cell/Fax
NOTE: WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN OPERATOR CURRENTLY LIVING IN THE MT WELLINGTON/ELLERSLIE or PENROSE AREA's.
The HouseWash Company has been operating for ten years and is still a small family run business, on saying that we are also the largest specialist house wash company in Auckland. Our business continues to grow and we now have over 6,500 repeat clients with 74% of our business being either repeat or referral work....in other words we are a stable, reliable and well established company.
We are looking for a Water Blast Operator who lives in (or near) the Mt Wellington/Ellerslie/Penrose areas in Auckland.
We seek someone who likes working with their hands, enjoys the outdoors, is a self starter, can work by themselves for long periods or with an assistant when necessary and is independent enough to get on with the job without requiring supervision. We focus mainly on exterior residential house washing so you will get to see and learn to find your way around Auckland.
The work is very physical so you will need to be fit & agile, have experience with outdoor physical labour, possess excellent English skills, be comfortable working with ladders and at height (we sometimes clean roofs 2 or 3 stories high using a safety harness) and have a current clean drivers license.
Experience is prefered however full training will be provided to the right applicant. The training period is usually 2 months @ $14-$15/hour afterwhich we let you loose with your own van or truck (which you get to take home) set up with $25,000 of water blast & cleaning equipment. New operators start @ $16/hour while experienced operators earn up to $21/hour (these hourly rates include performance bonuses).
Operators work based from their own home and come into the office once a week. Jobs and invoices are faxed between your home and the office. We start paying you from the time you leave your home in the morning until you leave the last job at the end of the day so you are effectively paid to travel one way to work! Wet weather gear and uniforms are also provided.
Incentives include an Xmas $1,500 performance bonus (in additition to the hourly rate's noted). We also have an active social club. The company is still growing so we expect other job opportunities will be created in the future. If this sounds like the right job for you send us your C.V. today.
