McAlpines Limited is a large, privately owned, sawmilling and timber processing business with operations in both the South and North islands of New Zealand.
Our Rangiora operation is currently seeking a trainee timber and round wood sales representative to join our South Island based sales and marketing team.
Working from the companies head office in Rangiora the right person for this entry level position will be self motivated, outgoing, customer orientated and enthusiastic about marketing our products, securing new business and achieving sales targets in this competitive industry.
A background in rural sales and customer service, or a recently completed tertiary education would be an asset in obtaining this position. An initial on site training period that covers all aspects of our products manufacturing processes will be provided.
Regular out of town and overnight travel will be required.
An attractive salary and remuneration package, including use of a company car, will be offered to the successful applicant.
