Location: Tauranga City, Bay Of Plenty Type: Permanent Pay and benefits: $32,000-$38,000 base salary + $4,000-$6,000 bonus Listed: Sun, 4 Mar

Our client is part of a large international hospitality/retail organisation, with an edgy, 'challenger' consumer brand. In New Zealand, the company is the fastest-growing of the major players and employs 3,000 staff.
This position of Assistant Manager reports to the Branch Manager, one role in Tauranga and one role in Taupo. In this role you will be responsible for people management, labour rostering & costing, purchasing and local area marketing.
Its a great opportunity for people currently in Retail or Hospitality, with proven staff management skills at the Assistant Manager or Shift Manager level, who would like to make a career move upwards. You will need to be able to work shifts.
The company places a big emphasis on its people and their development, so it pays for NZQA-accedited tertiary study and has a 6 week induction programme.
Remuneration is $32,000-$38,000 base salary (depending on your experience) + annual bonus of around $4,000 to $6,000 + cellphone + staff purchasing.
