Our client is going places. It is NZ¡¯s fastest growing organisation in its part of the retail/hospitality sector. It has an exciting new product range launched on top of its existing range. The company is the edgy, challenger brand in the industry. Throughout New Zealand, they employ around 3,000 staff.
Our client is seeking to appoint Shift Leaders for their Branches in Wellington City, Lower Hutt & Paraparaumu. You¡¯ll be responsible for leading and coaching teams of between 8 to 16 staff in a fast-paced, modern environment – no place better to help build your skills in people management. You¡¯ll also get the opportunity to gain business skills, providing input to staffing, purchasing, local marketing and costing.
Part of this success is a great commitment to its people – things such as fully-paid tertiary education, personal development plus some snappy fringe benefits in the package.
To be successful in this role, you¡¯ll need a proven record in first-level management – perhaps as a Department Leader or Shift Leader in retail, grocery, hospitality or contracting. You¡¯ll also need to be able to work shifts.
Salary is around $32,500 to $34,500.
