Our client is part of a large international hospitality/retail organisation, with an edgy, 'challenger' consumer brand. In New Zealand, the company is the fastest-growing of the major players and employs 3,000 staff and has 65+ branches.
This position of Shift Leader reports to the Hastings Branch Manager. You¡¯ll be responsible for leading and coaching teams of between 8 to 16 staff in a fast-paced, modern environment – no place better to help build your skills in people management. You¡¯ll also get the opportunity to gain business skills, providing input to staffing, purchasing, local marketing and costing.
To be successful in this role, you¡¯ll need a proven record in first-level management – perhaps as a Department Leader or Shift Leader in a fast-moving environment. That could be from hospitality, retail, couriers, commercial contracting, grocery etc. – you tell us what you can do! You¡¯ll also need to be able to work shifts.

Remuneration is $32,000-$34,000 base salary (depending on your experience) + + cellphone + staff purchasing.
