At Express Couriers we are going through some exciting changes and we want you along for the ride. As a large company we are looking for innovative professionals who are dedicated to driving their careers to the heights our CEO and organisation are aspiring to. We have an exciting new vacancy for an operations manager in our largest Auckland depot at Carbine road.
This role is critical to the success of our Carbine Road Depot and reports to the Auckland Branch Manager. The Operations Manager position, is pivotal in the effective management of our processing teams and associated activities within the branch and has an impact with all our processing as it is the main hub of our courier operations..
Ideally this position will suit an individual committed to building effective relationships, will lead by example by providing strong leadership to direct reports, and who has a passion to drive our customer focussed operations business forward.
The successful applicant will also demonstrate:
- Accountability for managing customer relationships operationally.
Strong management experience in an operations environment ideally within a logistics business
- Sound experience in financial management and budgeting
- Excellent relationship and management experience working with people and with unions
- Customer Service / Complaint resolution
- Process improvement capability.
- Flexibility and adaptability
