Description |
Our client is seeking a Sales and Project Engineer (Engineering Analysis) to join their professionally qualified technical consultants within the manufacturing / mechanical team. They provide software and consulting services to support their customers¡¯ needs in engineering analysis and design optimisation.
This role requires the servicing of an existing base of manufacturing and mechanical clients who use CAD/CAM and CAE applications. You will focus on both the consulting services and software sales, and will also take on the role as Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Project Manager (applications from MSC/Nastran, Abaqus, CD-Adapco Star-CFD). The position will also include CAE pre-sales and support and CFD analysis and support.
Ideally you will have a relevant engineering degree and 5+ years FEA (Finite Element Analysis) experience. If you have prior success in a Sales Engineering role and/or Project Management, then that would be preferred. Excellent technical computing skills, experience with solids modeling tools, rigid and flexible body dynamics or computational fluid dynamics would be an advantage. You will have excellent communication and listening skills, confidence, a sense of urgency and an ability to work with deadlines.
