The New Zealand Seafood Industry Council (SeaFIC) promotes the interests of all sectors of the fishing industry. We provide economic information and advice, co-ordination of industry resources, and enhancement of the industry's profile in the community.
The Seafood Industry Training Organisation (SITO) operates as a business unit of SeaFIC
We seek a suitably qualified Manager to co-ordinate the development, review and maintenance of unit standards and qualifications and their associated assessment guides, learning resources and other materials for SITO, to enable successful industry training outcomes for seafood industry trainees.
We seek someone with the following Attributes:
- manages his/her own time and workload to achieve the identified outputs
- works openly and collaboratively as part of a team
- communicates clearly verbally and in writing
- effective facilitation of working groups to ensure optimal work outputs
- knowledge of the NZ Qualifications Framework and/or experience in the seafood industry is an advantage
