Description |
permanent opportunity currently exists within our Auckland office for a Lead Drafter / Civil Drafting Team Leader. Within this role, you will be responsible for the drafting of a wide range of civil projects.
Your duties will also include:
Assisting engineers in the preparation of complex drawing documentation
Undertaking checking, verification and peer reviews of drafting work as required
Planning and management of drafting requirements for large/significant projects
Oversee less experienced drafters as necessary, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures and standards
Provision of training with particular emphasis on drafting techniques, drawing office standards and office procedures.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
Ideally, a recognised Drafting Diploma Qualification
A minimum of 10 years experience in Drafting within the civil and structural disciplines
Solid drafting experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, including 3D
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to lead and manage teams
Ideally 12d skills
