Description |
You'll start by mastering the surveying equipment (roading and construction) you're going to provide advice about - largely by working as part of the Technical Support Team responding to queries from end users.
You'll sort out those quesries that are continually arising and prepare a technically correct, documented solution that will be added to a growing database. Final formatting and editing will be done by experts. There is an expectation that 50% of your time will continue to be spent in a technical support role, during which you will be expected to stay very close to the development teams that are working on the next generation of surveying technology
The aim is to allow end-users to access the ""Help"" database in the first instance rather than using ""live"" help, which can gradually re-focus on the unique or unusual problems as the database matures.
You'll have previous hands-on experience with high-tech surveying equipment and be familiar with MS Word.
