Description |
LexisNexis NZ Ltd is a member of LexisNexis International, which forms the Legal Division of Reed Elsevier. LexisNexis is a leading provider of information to legal, corporate, government and academic markets. We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Professional Development team coordinating our conferences and seminars.
We are seeking an experienced conference coordinator who can work with boundless energy and enthusiasm. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for all conference administration and speaker liaison (pre, during and post event), production of documentation packs and coordination of the conference on the day.
As the Conference Coordinator you will liaise with suppliers, delegates and speakers as well as working with other members of the Professional Development team to create successful conferences. Consequently, this role demands exceptional people skills.
As the ideal candidate for this role you will have:
• Experience within a PCO environment (preferred).
• Excellent time management skills with a highly organised approach and an eagle eye for detail.
• The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• A service oriented, 'can do' attitude.
• The ability to be flexible with working hours and be able to travel to conferences held in other centres around New Zealand.
• A proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel. (Knowledge of Events Pro and Desk top publishing skills an advantage.)
• Access to a vehicle and valid drivers license.
• A tertiary qualification (preferred).
